Safety Measures

Shinzo Omakase has committed to taking certain safety measures to provide a safe, comfortable dining experience for everyone who dines with us.

 

Ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and staff is paramount during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic or any other virus. This guide provides comprehensive safety measures and guidelines for restaurants to minimize the risk of transmission and create a safe dining environment.

 

1. Limited Capacity; we can only accommodate a limited number of individuals on our premises. Each consumer gets one hour (60 minutes) in our section. We can accommodate up to 9 guests at the sushi counter bar, and we also have two more tables for groups of two and four. Customers will be able to book only tables for two between 6:15 PM and 8:15 PM. The Table of Four is exclusively accessible for walk-ins or those who need to complete their beverages from the previous reservation.

 

2. Contactless Policies: We have integrated disposable menus, contactless payment, disposable food service items, and we take cash if you do not wish to pay with a debit or credit card, but we will not have change. (Of course card is still preferred method of payment)

 

3. All employees must wear masks, and sushi chefs must wear gloves. If guests desire it, we will provide them with masks.

 

4. Cleaning and Prevention, Clean between seatings. Cleaning of communal spaces on a regular basis. Air filtration and purification systems have been upgraded. We do need to clean the area for the prior customers because each segment is 60 minutes long. Please allow our team some time to clear the counter/table. You will not lose time because we always start at 1 hour (60 minutes) from the moment you sit.

 

5. Personnel & Operations Staff daily temperature checks and health screenings Contact tracing reporting Logs for cleaning increased back-of-house cleaning and disinfection Staff training on current safety knowledge and precautions Protocols for food safety have been added.
